Sutta
The discourses remain the root. Terms are kept exact. Metaphors are used only when they serve seeing.

Ven. Imaduwe Nandarathana Thero is a Sri Lankan monk and the founder of ABHĀṢITHA. The work is the teaching. The site exists so that work can outlast any single platform.
Life in the robe
This page records the public vocation: Dhamma teaching, writing, and the founding of a place of practice. It does not advertise a biography for curiosity. Dates of birth, family stories, and private monastic details are omitted unless the Venerable asks them to be added.
What can already be said from the published work:
Suttas are read closely — Bāhiya, Madhupiṇḍika, Āṇi, and the vocabulary of knowing — and then related to how a mind actually constructs a world.
Books and long essays in Sinhala. The blog at abhashitha.blogspot.com has carried investigations since at least 2020, including rebirth, meditation and Nibbāna, and the boat-parable of the path.
A radio channel of conversations was begun in 2018. The YouTube archive now holds the principal public sermons of ABHĀṢITHA.
A ten-acre project is being prepared for meditators only — a forest setting for those who come to practise, not to tour.
The teaching image
The public image of the work holds birth, sense, body, memory, and a village under one sky. The teaching itself stays simpler: come and see.
The method
The teachings do not replace the Tipiṭaka with neuroscience. They use contemporary language — predictive mind, time-lag of perception, questions of AI — so that a modern listener can see what the Buddha already pointed to: the constructed nature of experience, and the possibility of its cessation.
The discourses remain the root. Terms are kept exact. Metaphors are used only when they serve seeing.
Citta-vīthi, phassa, saññā, papañca — analysis as a tool for practice, not as a scholastic sport.
Bhāvanā aimed at Nibbāna. The future land exists so that listening can become sitting.
